Omfg!!!! That lightning an. Thunder wow!!! Epic?!?Ahhhhhhahaha car alarms going off

 

Torrential rain, thunder and vivid lightning here in north west  London now .

look at the very low uppers to our east

 

they get very close to our shores but do not quite get here

Crikey! That band of rain looks a bit vicious. Hope we get some T&L later. :O Had no rain at all today which makes a change.

Anyway.....been putting up book shelves today so haven't seen much of the great outdoors.

just started chucking it down here, with thunder and lightening, 2 minutes after i took the christmas tree outside, glad i didnt get caught in it! it feels like london has started monsoon season at the moment with all this rain

Well that lightning and thunder amidst the heavy rain came as a surprise; will keep an eye and ear out for more as the evening progresses, preferably not during dog walk time. On the subject of which, so sorry for your loss Shotski, you have lost a member of your family.

 

Kingston riverside today was almost overflowing at the banks in places, so could do without any more rain now.
