too many preference posters there

He means childish planks who want snow and scream abuse at people who contradict their (mis)interpretations of the charts by pointing out that the ensembles show 5C and wet rather than -15 and blizzards.

Another wet and windy night here - thoughts are with people in the flood risk areas I really hope everyone stays safe and has had sufficient warnings to move valuables and minimise their loss and damage, very sad to think peoples new year is going to be getting off to such a rotten start .... I can't stand the rain (give me snow any day ) so at the risk of missing anything white and fluffy falling from the sky mid month mr P and I have booked a lastminutedotcom get away - hopefully the only showers we get that week will look like this .....

post-10773-0-54348500-1388711123_thumb.j

... All we need to do now is nominate someone as proxy (just in case we miss it) to measure on our behalf for the snow depth cup ( I assume it still counts Tom ? Lol )

Just to let those in southern counties know, there is an intense, squally band of rain over me in East Devon right now. It's the heaviest feature we've had over the past stormy 3 weeks. Batten down the hatches as its a powerful and windy rain event.

It's just beginning to make it's presence known here with moderate rain & a few gusts so far.

It appears to have passed through here very quickly, almost 'blink & you'll miss it' speed. Just a few notable gusts with a splashing of rain, all seems calm & dry again.
