I'm already turning my other 2 kidlets into mini weathergeeks, lol!!

Yes maybe its the nerves from me...we're surrounded by trees and flooding in garden nearly up to front door earlier so god knows what we'll wake to in the morning.... :( xxx

Lol. It can have a sip of me plonk and be happy with that. It's a bit too windy to go looking for leaves. Posted Image

Just stick your hand out of the window....a few dozen leave will soon come along....you just have to have quick reactions :)

Still gusty here, but not damaging yet.

Looks like a BA plane and an Easyjet plane have aborted their landings at Gatwick and are heading off elsewhere!!

Watching them also, poor souls.  My kitchen flooded tonight, but I would not swap places.  The BA in front ( from Glasgow) aborted landing very late and the following Easyjet on final approach  (from Nice) had to then abort also. Both seem to be heading NNW on different headings now.  What a nightmare for the passengers & crew.

Think we are going to loose our conservatory roof! The wind is whipping round the bungalow Posted Image now I think it was a really bad idea moving to a detatched on the cliff tops :/

Maybe not right now, but I'm sure you have benefits most of the time eh?

Good luck and take care.

EDIT: Just saw a flash of lightning (I think), but the wind is making too much noise to hear if it was followed by a rumble.

Had to get up outta bed I've got the most awful headache, blurred vision too!!! I normally get headaches when there's a thunderstorm so I'm assuming this too is weather related!!! Meds and tiger balm not kicking in, so I've got up and come downstairs, friend on FB in Hastings has no power, fence panels gone and roof tiles slipping by the dozen! My huskies sleep outside in their lovely big kennel but tonight they indoors snoring on the floor in my bedroom, can't be trusted anywhere else in the house we would wake to the tree and presents eaten lol

another flicker

Every time you've reported a flicker, we've had one too at exactly the same time - about 150 miles away!

that's strange, it can't be the same server.

Now, i don't know if this could be the power of suggestion from hearing the wind and how strong it is but i could swear the bed is shaking now.Posted Image

Southernman has just come in and said "if you think what you can hear at the front of the house is bad, you should hear it at the back of the house!" So it must be worse than it appears in here.

Well, Romford area is kicking and screaming.  Watching the trees buckle at the back of my house, and gauging how high they are in relation to the distance from the flat....

In other news, my mini greenhouse took off over a fence and landed in a neighbours garden.  Currently back where it belongs, weighted down with a few metal fold up chairs.

Nasty clattering noise from the sealed fireplace as well earlier.  Hopefully just a chimney pot and nothing more structural.

Also, to add to all of the plane-watchers (currently training PPL here and flown since age 8 ), I would dearly love to see the track vs actual heading on these approaches....must be some wild crab angles.  If I could be bothered, I could probably work it out.  But i'm more interested in listening for nasty sounds in the loft.

Keep safe all Posted Image
