To warm here, 4.1C DP 3.5, it will be rain in my neck of the woods with those temps. Hopefully some in our region get the good stuff.

Even in that short time I've gone up to 4.4C and DP 3.7 lol, time to hit the hay! I'll leave my all nighters for the Channel lows that WILL happen in the coming months.............I hope

Seems to be mostly rain/sleet. No actual snow for the either the southwest or southeast. Temperatures certainly still a bit on the high side here in Egham.

Feels very cold out there with 20-30mph winds blowing!

We have had some showers with very small hail but other then that nothing unusual.

Think i'll drop the Met Office a word or two

For the past 24 hours, it's been gusting over gale force (40mph) here

It's been relentless (especially high gusts in showers)

Right now, it's showing no signs of easing down

Even outside of any showers, it's a mean speed of 25mph (Northerly)

Gusting to 41mph, as i type this

No wind warnings were put out for the south-west

I fear to open my north facing window... as i will struggle to close it again

Yes well Anyweather's posts re: DPs etc. being too high were spot on, but some got lucky more especially London way before it went slightly milder. Oh well here's to further wintry type showers today and then the long haul in looking forward to something interesting again come late November. Posted Image

7.1c and a much improved day with sunny spells and a fresh NE wind. I say much improved as from before dawn until 10.00 it was raw, showery and uncomfortable to be working out in!

When was it even sleeting, today?

Why? Do you not believe Cakie, William? There were a few showers about earlier as several folk have alluded to. As to the future, FI is getting ever pushed back I reckon with High Pressure dominating through the next six to seven days at least. Although some precipitation is possible on an incoming front come Sunday into Monday if non-wintry wetness floats your boat.  Posted Image At least there should be some pleasant sunshine in abundance at least at first then the high attempts to re-orientate itself by the start of next week.

No, I love wintry weather and I love snow. Cakie is only a few miles away and there weren't any showers at the time of her post, here.

Snow risk is down from 29% to 0% here.  Kind of what I expected but a little disappointing none the less.
