Now we have quite a hail shower!

 

That was a bonkers 10 minutes with more thunder and all the car alarms going off!

Fire on Xmas decs up and stew on stove :) feels like winter is on its way ....

Serious ? Pleased my mrs does not read this I lose the battle every year and have to do them on the 1/12

Morning all!

Was a chilly - 0.5 when I fiirst got up at 6.30 to walk the dog. Was actually quite pleasant, although very wet from all the rain yesterday afternoon.

Glad I got out early as we have had a few rumbles of thunder here too in the last 10 minutes. Temp has risen to 4.5 so still fairly cool. No rain as yet, but the sky towards the south is black! Looks like we are in for a storm! Time for a large mug of tea and a bacon buttie and sit back and watch!

Storm front moved along exactly the same tract as yesterday. Thunder and now heavy rain in Wadhurst, East Sussex. 3.8c on the thermometer.

Morning all

 

Rather benign looking day out (not actually been out yet) hung the washing up inside as it looks like nothing is drying the damp off the tiles etc outside, need to get some moo juice before midday so will have to step out soon.  Currently dull, damp and 4.8oC here.

Just walked across the grass to the shed (to get bird feed as I realised I've not put any out in ages!) and the ground is like a bog. Bloody cold too. Looks like the rain's about to hit here.

Morning all. :)

 

A promising morning is giving way to the usual dross.

 

Just put a joint of beef in the oven, which has been defrosted from the freezer. It has a use by date of 2nd January. The trouble is, it doesn't say which year... Posted Image

Mornin each. Very dull and overcast in Ippy today..but it's calm and mild..ish.

That storm in the Philippines has been awful hasn't it?I just heard about it on the radio. Poor souls.

Just looked out and appears to be getting a bit brighter ( I say a bit ) and rain has eased off now, but dry it is not.

 

Just primed some watercolour sheets but waiting for them to dry first so I can use them seems to be taking forever....

Hi everyone!!  Not posted for a while but have kept up with all the gossip!  Had a bit of everything here today, heavy rain, hail, thunder and lightning. I was out in it  with the kids and we got drenched.......kids thought it was a great fun!!    I hate driving with "steamed up" windows.   Looking a bit brighter now.  Hope you all have a great weekend  what ever you are doing!!

Rain has stopped here now, just been out to the bin and the air temp feels cooler than earlier but that may be the damp more than anything.
