Why oh why do folks in the other threads love caravaning at eachother so much....I come in here to take shelter from the winter thread.....man what a bunch of little caravanes in there this afternoon....

Rain persists in London Taan, its that horrid fine stuff that you cant see until you realise you are soaked through,,,,humphh....

Haha caravan....I do love the swear filter, but i think most of us can handle the word Bit*ching/Bitc*es lol

Afternoon all on this damp cool and dull day (not that it bovvers me).

Last nights frost did not make it to the morning before the rain and cloud arrived (saved having to do the car windows which is a bit of a result on a Monday morning in the dark just after 6am)

Stay in this much friendlier thread Lloyd, you know it makes sense.Posted Image

It has been a truly rotten day here in the London area with incessant grey skies and rain throughout the day, nothing to heavy but just non stop muck.

I haven't seen Tamara post here for a couple of days but just wondering if she spotted the Status Quo feature on BBC2 at the weekend ? It was a documentary followed by their TOTP's appearances. I would imagine it's on  BBC i-Player for a few days. Posted Image

Afternoon all, have been in a rather reflective mood the past few days, puts your interest in weather into perspective when you see the devastation in the Philippines, mother nature can be  truly ruthless when she wants to be!Posted Image

Certainly puts home what you have/want/need when you see such loss and destruction.

Thanks John!!I think ive been burnt too many times by these ramps, so for now im going to take it one step at a time and TRY not to get my self worked up about it. I will also observe the winter thread from a far and only dive in to comment every now and again. So, when was the earliest settling snow you can remember everyone? Mine must of been November 2010, because thats when I really started to get into weather and I can't really remember snow earlier than that in my lifetime, Christmas 2010 was my first white christmas also.I don't know if liking both Thunderstorms and Snow equally is a downfall or good thing? haha.

hi meso

ramps are what they are

and just for fun

i am more likely now to go with the fax charts

at present the fax runs are matching with ecm which gives me a tad more confidence on this cold snap

however details etc are near on impossible to predict

although a bit of a ramp is good fun Posted Image

my earliest snow remembered is october 2008
