VERY cold Pit, from you often complaining about the weather forecasters on TV and their terminology that is a bit rich.

Not warm for sure but hardly very cold in terms of actual temperatures?

11.4C here in a breeze and slight rain started 1210 but seems to have died out again for the moment.

Lashing it down here, the rain is moving pretty fast looking at the radar yet little wind, must be the jet flying it across. Also look how wrong the GFS 06z is at just  T+6hrs for noon compared to the radar, shocking!

Clear intervals last night.

Mainly cloudy today, spells of rain 10 to 1400, some heavy, then just a few showers. Sunny intervals 17-1800. Milder than of late, and humid. Moderate westerly last night, became a light SW this morning. Fresh and gusty westerly from mid afternoon. 

 

A narrow band of at times heavy rain has been passing just NE of here since mid aftetnoon along the strung out occlusion and has given 20mm in places just 5 miles away to the NE, while here only 2mm since mid afternoon.
