Morning all,

Damp and overcast here, bit of light rain and 17.8oC in the shed, managed to sleep last night without the window open.

Good luck with that.

Caused by too much vino collapse'o?

I couldn't possibly say how it happened Posted Image the good news is they don't think it's ruptured just torn but can't be sure unless it's scanned !

It's a bit brighter now and it's drying up out there...not that I'm going to be out and about much today Posted Image

Update to the severe weather warning that is mainly for the SW:

Issued at:
1119 on Mon 5 Aug 2013

Valid from:
1125 on Mon 5 Aug 2013

Valid to:
2100 on Mon 5 Aug 2013

Further rain will affect parts of western England, Wales, northern England and southeast Scotland through today before easing away eastwards. Accumulations of 20-40 mm are likely in many parts with the risk of more than 60 mm over parts of southwest England, Wales and northern England. The public are advised to be aware of the risk of surface water flooding. A waving frontal zone will remain slow-moving across the area before slowly clearing east later today. Rain could turn thundery at times with some intense downpours within the longer spells of rain.

This is an update to the warning issued on Sunday to include more of northeast England and to extend the warning until 2100 this evening. However, it should be noted that the rain is expected to clear Wales and southwest England during this afternoon.

Hope it is OK, and when they scan you and it goes *BEEP*  you don't turn out to be a tin of baked beans on BOGOF.

Hazy sunshine, breezy and warm

Just hit 27.1° here. (And my weather station is normally pretty accurate, temperature-wise.) Yet the MetO home page is still showing a max of 23° for my specific location, and a max of 24 for anywhere in the SE!

Anyway, may cool down now as the cloud is thickening quick rapidly. May just catch the northern edge of the rain band moving east across the far south...

There was a chance of rain moving across us, but less of one for a thunderstorm I think Callie.
