Just finished work have a great view from Gyle. Complete unadulterated cloud porn. Amazing skies in this light.

Huge bank of Cu, Cb beyond the airport to the west. Approaching from the south a monster Cb mothership.

CAPE for tomorrow also looking good .

Roguing wild oats out of the barley tonight as its slightly cooler with less insects. Currently 21c. Really special to see a fiery sunset over the Firthpost-2744-0-66718500-1374699926_thumb.jp

Radar looks interesting in the southern uplands at the moment.

Fair number of rumbles of thunder around here at the moment.

Love this weather. .. the sun has came out after the downpour and steam is rising off the pavements. Hopefully we'll get a cracker of a storm today!

That "decent convection" I was talking about is now a strong little shower on the radar, it has popped up from nothing much in an hour.

Grand! The sky is dark in all directions so here's hoping!

That shower to my S/SE (Catch's direction) has turned electrical according to the netweather radar, hope it moves ever so slightly to the west otherwise i'll be sideswiped

Edit: Also got my eye on that Carlise cell

Fairly sure this was asked in the convective thread the other night but cant seem to find it.

Anybody have any idea what could be causing the weird anaprop that covers all of SW Scotland at random intervels?

I always blame radar defects on whitelee wind farm, the anaprop is usually much smaller than that though!
