Help Needed! Meteorlogical Data. Satellite image archive.

I'm having a real problem trying to find a site with archived satellite data, specifically for Europe.

I want to make an IR animation of a two week period in May 2013 as part of a project I'm working on but the bookmarks I had don't seem to work anymore.

Ideally, I want something like a Java loop which allows me to specify dates or a website that allows me to 'batch download' stills in gif format or similar, so I can animate them as a sequence.

My weather bookmarks are a little out of date but out of my 27 weather bookmarks ~ 14 no longer worked, 10 didn't host historical data, and the three that did either didn't have Europe or the Java app appeared blank.

I'm not exaggerating when I say I've spent the last four hours looking.
