As MIke says this a weak front ahead of the main band currently over Ireland. The usual suspects should get snow, for a time, anyway, above 250m and further east perhaps quite a decent fall.

Light sleet/ drizzle here hard to tell which it is very fine, thawing steadily, bye bye lovely snow coversad.png

by the way folks - my posts are being fiddled with by net weather - these controlling people have now gone one step too far - and i'm now extremely angry - they have awoken a lion in me - and i am now considering my options - they obviously want me off there forum - i don't mind either way - i love the weather whether net weather are here or not - so - as i've saud - i am now going to consider my options - they have started a war with me - they had better be prpared to finish - or maybe they aren't we shall see - you may not hear from me for a while - but watch this space - maybe net weather will have some techy difficulties! we shall see!

Heavy snow in Craig Cefn Parc given a covering replacing the snow that thawed overnight.

Some initial snow is expected down there.

nmm-1-6-0.png?25-11

But should turn to rain for all expect probably higher ground in the E as the main band hits, some torrential rain too

(12pm and 7pm)

I understand Derek had to apologise for the mess they made yesterday or wednesday of the forecast - that's quite a few times they've had to do that over the years - and I know that snow is hard to predict - where it falls and how much and whether it'll be snow/sleet/rain etc etc - but I can do it - so why can't they?

I wondered when you would creep out the woodwork again.

Snowing in Tongwynlais - just a few light flakes though.

Do you honestly believe you are a more accurate snow forecaster? On many occasions you have got it badly wrong, those who predict the same thing often enough will be lucky eventually.

I've actually been in touch with the Met Office in the last two days - and today they are wanting me to contact their HR dept - about the possibility of me being taken on as a met office adviser - would you believe - now there's a thing!
