Hows it going there at the moment?

its winter wonderland kids are loving it my lil girl is worried its going to stop soon but were gonna get out in it after a couple of cups of tea then get out there before the sleet or thaw sets in.

any idears on whether this front has stalled or likely to pep up ?

considering portland is sticking out in the channel and how far west you are its incredible.

Meto still going for rain here this afternoon. So would love that to be wrong. Snow is wet snow and it would not take much of a rise to see it go the way they are forecasting. Will need to travel in land a bit tomorrow I think.

Thats great, get out there and enjoy it with the children. They must be so excited. It's also great to see the adults even more excited than the children!!!lol

In terms of stalling or whether there will be a thaw, still waiting for the latest NAE but I think at the moment Portsmouth eastwards should probably avoid that but I'll have more news after the morning outputs.

This is damn impressive for Southampton, as has been mentioned before we've never really benifted from these sort of setups - but it's stunning out there.

I woke up at 6am and it was a white out, but it's not stopped...it's pepping up now if anything, and it's going to continue for a good few hours yet.

Everything tried to start here, busses, work tips etc...but now the roads are dead. All busses are cancelled and the airport is shut, the conditions are only going to get worse.

well Barnstaple hasn't done very well if its any consolation! Its been wet snow since 3am some has settled on the roofs. Stopped for an hour and some snow has just pepped up on the radar out of nowhere so may still get a chance!

Temp droped a bit more in poole, still looking good for snow at the moment, Just need this wind to stay in the current direction! Amazing to see!!
