Said for a while now nothing in this for Devon, Cornwall, Dorset and South / West Somerset.

I can't view it from an iPod, care to enlighten me? biggrin.png

It just starts off with David Braine whistling as he walks on set, putting on his mic, sorting his jacket out, presenting the Channel Islands forecast then it shows him walking away from the set/forecast. Ends with a little 'huff' from him. laugh.png

Taking that at face value that looks like a south westerly wind we have there into our region, hope that changes between now and then.

Just copying this over from the last thread!

Check out David Braine preparing for his Channel Islands forecast here. Check the ending out too. Totally unedited. laugh.png

Can someone help me out? Upgarde for South Central coast or not? Slight Westerly correction is a good thing, yes? Charts look good to my untrained eye, but sense negativity...........

Would this be the pinnacle of the winter, a covering of white on the 25th, or do you live in an area where you'd be glad to see snow at any point this winter.
It turns out it is quite a complicated business defining a White Christmas, from the observations. A look at various types of frozen precipitation, including those that look like snow but aren't and out in the cold 'sleet'. https://www.netweather.tv/weather-forecasts/news/8573-wintry-showers-and-what-counts-for-white-christmas-observations

Whilst trying to confirm which met observations were allowed for a White Christmas, quite a list of frozen precipitation resulted. And 'sleet' gets left out in the cold

      Hi all,
A yellow weather warning for snow has been issued for parts of Scotland for the 23rd of November. I wrote about it in more detail  but thought I would share my excitement for winter and snow
