That Cheshire streamer shows how snow can crop up without any warning, this week should see other unexpected events I'm sure.

Buzzit you'll petrify people with that Cookie Monster pic, they'll wonder where the cold's gone. :)

Gosh, the new text forecasts from the Met Office are poor for the SE:

I think that Cheshire streamer proves that nothing is set in stone, in fact, even the snow that moved into E Kent this evening wasn't forecasted at all I don't think

Yuck

I suppose our only hope for tomorrow is that we see a covering of snow tonight, it might help moderate the warm sector enough to put us on the right side of marginal..

Snowing !! X a very light dusting wahooooo ok need to sleep soon If I can smile.png

Excellent!! Should be with me any minute now... not going to crash after such a long wait!

I really am amazed at how well the Cheshire streamer is doing right now, it really has intensified as it passes to the West of Birmingham, it must be able to make it down here.

Nighty, night! Here's to a cold sector later on when the proper stuff is due to arrive.

Still nothing here at the moment, only need to see a few flakes before getting some well deserved sleep.

EDIT: Finally a few small flakes have deigned to make an appearance! Hoorah, let's hope it continues.

Just woken up and I seem to have timed that well as it has just stated snowing in Reigate. Only light but very nice to see.

Temp +1.4c . Dewpoint -4,4c. Not sure it will settle given the air temperature, but time will tell.

Light snow now, with the flakes ready to settle, just need it to get heavier.

It's snowing in Croydon good.gif

Good'o Yamkin, not a bad call from the Meto after all.

What was the warning you had...04.00 acute.gif just about to drive to docklands, got to scrape a 1inch of snow off the car first...

MetO were spot on in forecasting the 04:00 hrs snow event which is happening right now and to expect 1-2cm
