Snowing very lightly here in Middlesbrough, hope it intensifies in the next couple of hours and starts laying. Think a few of us, especially in the South of the region, could be nicely surprised

very light snow here now right on the coastgood.gif

In the last 30 mins the intensity and organisation off the band seems to get better on each radar update lets hope that continues.

Is it just me or is the radar looking slightly better? Still lightly snowing but nowt really settling

I was thinking that, although I think it's too late for Newcastle. Maybe E Yorkshire will benefit.

Who cares about Yorkshire? ;)

Might get a covering yet up here where it counts.

Light/moderate snow here now with the lightest of covering's,although the front looks to be

coming through pretty quickly judging by the radar.

Decent covering but not looking like lasting much longer on radar. So what's tomorrow going to bring

Steady light snow here 2-3/10 intensity. Temp 0.9 not settling. If we are lucky it could be heavy for 30 mins on the back edge....

Easing slightly here, a sugar dusting on the grass but that's it.

Nothing settling at all in Heaton. Just going to have a drive up High Heaton to check out this dusting.
