It's all looking very exciting still. Will the kids be getting a snow day next week I wonder?

Here today it is 8.4c and damp and grey. Same old, same old. :D

Have a good day everyone!

Here's hoping to a bit of this next week, dogs would certainly enjoy it and I would appreciate them coming back from a walk relatively clean!

would take dull and grey to the weather we had over the xmas period anytime!!

Probably with 1cm of snow and all the teachers decide to take the day off

what do you mean 1cm.. they shut schools with heavy frosts now.. something to do with kids slipping and parents suing!!

I'm impressed with your local knowledge. Yea that's where we usually go if it snows that way don't have to brave crossing the A22 to get to Abbots Wood. I'm a big chicken when it comes to driving in the snow lol even though I have a 4x4. Go figure huh.

Don't normally come in here, but I feel that if the next few runs heading into tomorrow keep the conditions poised to turn Easterly come the weekend, there could be some surprise snowfalls (and not the projected 1cms either). some runs have 10+cms, others have none and some have somewhere in between. Lets see where we go from here...

We'll know when it falls out of the sky - or doesn't!

Getting really fed up with this dross that we have got at the moment people saying it's mild but I think it's a bit chilly out there and it's that drizzly sort of nothing rain. Can't remember what the sun looks like now.

Not all of them. One of our local junior schools takes pride in opening in extreme weather and then issues sledges to the children to go and play in the park in break times. Being issued sledges is a bit of a let down for them when the extreme weather is wind and rain, but the plan certainly works well in the snow!

Just finished work...was the 06z as good as the 00z? Just having a look at some of Surrey's posts it would seem so? (can't see what run they were from on my phone)
