Looks like it could possibly be very windy for southern areas on Tuesday as well.

 

Most recent wind map is showing 50mph+ gusts in the channel and 35-45mph inland.

Particularity quiet at this end of the country, GFS forecasts more for Scotland again with the SE missing out:

Surprisingly its been much more windier here today.

 

Have had a max of 31mph so far.

High Wind Gust Today: 23 mph 14:03 High Wind Speed Today: 7 mph 12:24 Rainfall Today: 1.0 mm High Rainfall Rate Today: 3.2 mm/hr 10:22. Note: The anemometer is sheltered from the WNW, NW, NNW, N and NNE, so reported wind speeds will be lower than actual from that direction. :D

Another breezy day here to, a max gust of 28mph, which is very normal.

Yes, nothing more than a breezy day here too. The highest gust during daylight hours was 42 mph at 1001 g.m.t but most of the gusts were between 28 and 36 mph. Highest gust since midnight was 46 mph at 0313 g.m.t.

Very windy and showery here today with some hail thrown in at times. Wind gusts around 50mph.

Wind really picked up with the showers yesterday, had a gust of 40mph with and gusts of 35mph in other showers.That is actually the joint strongest gust recorded by my station this year. The synoptic chart didn't look very windy down here though.

There are likely to impact the UK with stronger storms from October into the winter but watch it out with this Atlantic Storms will be updated in October.

It could be able to get a warmer air into this weekend and next week with above average temperature. :)

Yeah I would love to see some good storms this Autumn/Winter.

Some windy weather on the way,

 

On Thursday gusts over 50mph for Eastern coasts of England and Eastern England around 52mph gusts,

 

Thursday does look like it will blow a hooley in the North Sea, with some gusts around 60 mph offshore:
