Relatively clear skies and a bright start this morning with lots of contrails picked out by the morning sunrise.

Morning all,

Bright and dry here, not a bad start to the day and the week - 13 °C so not bad for 8am

Why did yesterday have to be so duff when I had time to enjoy being outside, but today when I'm desk bound, the sun is out? It's a conspiracy

Morning all. Quite a lot of low cloud here at the moment. I guess the Sun will soon banish it.

Hmmm... The cloud is now thicker, so my office is quite dark, even though it's exposed to the Sun in the morning. Monday morning weather I suppose!sad.png It looks like it might drizzle too.

Did you see the feature on Sir Ranulph Fiennes latest expedition on the BBC this morning - basically travelling on snow cats across Antarctica over the winter.ohmy.png

All I thought was that they've got to get it exactly right or else they will be finished. Presumably if they get into difficulties, rescue would be very, very difficult?

No, we need all the bright young ladies we can get down here to make up for the appalling bland Summer we've had.

We've got the cloud back again now, it doesn't look that bad on the satellite but is dull and grey overhead in Mid Sussex:

Oh no, sorry to hear that sad.png (about the dog that is not that you will be back later !)

After BT saying this morning that it would take 3 days to fix the fault on my line I can dial out again within a few hours, so that's one problem sorted for today...... (and the engineer gave me his mobile number unsure.png)

Aww! Poor little soul. So sad when our furry friends leave us. :( I've just been to collect my cat, Oscar's ashes today. He's now sitting on my window sill where he used to go to peer out on the world. *sniff*

Anyway, it's been a lovely warm and sunny day here in Norwich. The trees are turning and it smells all autumnal now. Lovely. :)
