Not looking good here. 29mm so far since this started yesterday afternoon. Very slow moving, heavy rain on the way. Local streams are already over their banks and fields are flooded too. Back later when the 24 hour period is up at 09.00GMT.

Beautifully clear morning here will hopefully help temps raise to break any cap in play today, estofex have a general thunderstorm risk across England with a level 1 for Eastern England, E mids, in EA and the south coast for water/land spouts.
