Yet another disappointing start to a summmer morning, overcast and damp with light rain falling but the breeze is much lighter than recent days. Mild though @ 14.3c. Pressure 1008mb.

A dry start to last night but cloud spread in from the south west by late evening and brought occasional light rain during the early hours.

Currently dry and overcast with ragged St drifting across the hills.

Cloudy overnight with a spell of light rain spreading from the west through the early hours. The day dawned overcast and damp with intermittent drizzle. At observation, light drizzle.

Showery rain cleared around midnight and the sky cleared through the early hours to make for a fine and sunny start. Cloud increased through the morning to observation when there were just bright spells. The morning was cloudy, by early afternoon light showers broke out and continued until mid afternoon when a clearance arrived allowing sunny spells, very breezy. The evening turned cloudy once again.

Thoroughly miserable and dull with Stratocumulus sitting on the hills, persistent drizzle/light rain and some heavier bursts at times.

It's 3:15pm on the 2nd July, yet the conditions outside are:

14.9C, 98% humidity, dull, low cloud and drizzle, zero sunshine today, and a nuisance amount of rain of 2.0mm

Another October like day, I guess we're in November now though as June was just a mild October.. or felt like it most of the time. Thankfully I happen to be going to Holland for a week where it looks like being up to 10 degrees warmer than where I live in the first few days. Hopefully there will be a slightly better outlook when I get back.

The first completely sunless day of July. Drizzle and thick hill fog from mid to late morning, the fog clearing as an area of light-moderate rain moved up from the south around midday and lasted for most of the afternoon before giving way to showers this evening.

Mostly cloudy today. A little drizzle at times until mid morning, then 10am to 1530 spells of light to moderate rain, then just spitting drizzle. A few sunny intervals this evening. Moderate southerly wind.

Steady light rain until lunchtime after which it cleared up but low dark cloud predominated on the coast and inland in Somerset. Vague hints of a little sun lasting the odd second or two but still dark and ghastly here. Currently about 13C. Here is a picture of Burnham-on-Sea looking beautiful today.
