Give it a rest, don't speak to snow raven like that. It's not necessary.

I just don't think you get the idea of a weather forum, when its sunny its quiet on here but any hint of anything extreme we all pile on here.

We love sunshine we all want a proper summer but don't put us down for getting excited if something extreme is forecast. We can't help what is forecast, its not like we come on here wishing for thunder if its not forecast, well most of us dont!

There must be a lack of summer moan thread on here, there is on two, did you not see it?

Sorry mods

That's it I actually give up.

Don't talk to snow raven like that?

So I do nothing wrong and snow raven out of the blue posts

"I like to look at women over parks"

That's ok is it? To speak to me like that?

Archiesmummy / coast/ snow raven I expect you all round my house with axes the way you lot carry on.

I get the hint, I'm not welcome on this thread.

It's a shame really as I never intended to wind up or upset, it's just I love the sunshine and hate thunderstorms.

I lost mum in a house fire due to a lightning strike 6 years ago and my dad suffered 60% burns, I hate mentioning it but I feel I just wanted to let you know that that's why I get happy when storms don't materialise.

I hate them - hate them like you wouldn't believe.

So how come there are still warnings in place for EA until 3am to tomorrow for heavy rain. There is nothing at all on the radar. Weird. ohmy.png

I was very surprised at the Met Office only issuing an amber warning for Northern Ireland today and not the Midlands / NE. I think they sometimes set out their stall early and don't revise, even if things aren't going quite as expected, unfortunately.

I looked at their website today and a big feature advertised is typical weather to be expected during the Olympics / Paralympics. To me teaching your grandmother to suck eggs like this is not what they should be about. I know they are a Government agency and their hands are undoubtedly tied by politicians, but they should be an organisation able to generally deliver more accurate forecasts than anybody else in this country and that should be their entire focus. In my humble opinion.

we missed out in the London area would have loved to have been in a super cell today but we continue the wait

Were there actually supercells today then? I'm not surprised.

I'll read the summary, that's been mentioned, at the weekend, if it's answered there, mind you.

Well it seems when I try to fight my corner for being ganged up for no apparent reason my post gets deleted and yet the abusive posts about me get to stay.

I'll stop using the forum now as there is just no point.

Shame really - that you have to be a storm lover and not a sun lover to be a member.

And for the record I did not gloat, cause trouble or make any untoward post today about storms.

But snow raven made sure to bully me and make a disgusting comment about my day out today.

Well, the fresher air has arrived - I'm off to bed!

Look forward to discussing any other storm prospects as the 'summer' goes on! good.gif

Thanks. Unfortunately I'm not on Twitter (or Facebook) but I'll use this as a reference, so should be useful.

I'd best go to bed too now.lazy.gif

So whats blocking the cape from building in the south? I think nobody in any other region can complain anymore apart from us and the southern lot!

Morning all,

Hopefully we are in for a cooler and calmer day all round today friends.gif

I enjoyed watching the bats last night, there must have been a lot of flying midges/insects in the air as I've never seen so much bat activity here.

It's cloudy here at the moment and 15.5 °C with a fresh breeze, I was awake at silly-o-clock for some reason still gives me chance to catch up with my to do list.....

Maybe it'll be that sort of Summer?

Perhaps the UK equivalent of the 2011 tornado season in the US.unsure.png

It's actually not too bad here today. Not sunny but not as muggy as yesterday.

Morning all

Can't view the video at the moment, prob too many people trying to view it!

Much fresher feel to today, can see patches of very high white cloud hardly moving at all but lower level grey cloud moving quite fast over it, looks quite mesmerizing!
