Heavy showers passed by close to the NE late afternoon, giving a brief shower here. My daughter in Lampeter 3 miles away heard a quite loud rumble of thunder around 1745 with a brief torrential shower. I reckon the thunder would have also been heard from here.

A further light to moderate shower around 2015 this evening.

I experienced a really torrential shower in Carmarthen late this afternoon:

Quite a pleasant early summer's day, the nice 'usable' kind of day with near-average temperatures that we've been lacking recently. Dry and sunny in the morning, cloudier with sunny intervals in the afternoon. Currently clear, 12.5 deg C, wind light SE. Today's maximum 17.7, last night's minimum 7.0.

Very decent here as well, over 10 hours of sunshine, and feeling pleasantly warm as well, did catch a shower at around 9.30pm, so no dry days this week.

That record will continue into the weekend. cray.gif

An extremely cold start this morning with a min temp of 4.8C, making it the coolest in June since 2005. The day started sunny, but through the morning it turned cloudy as convection bubbled up and hit a cap. There were then some late sunny spells in the evening. It was a cool day again with a max of 14.6C.

Currently overcast but dry at 10.7C and 86% humidity.
