I'm stuck at my mothers in the village all the roads are inpossible to drive on with 6 inches of snaw on them with no sibns of any plough.I have no chance of gettiing up to my house this evening another 400 feet above the village

Strewth, look at what's sitting just offshore of the Northumbrian coast... can I have that over Edinburgh please, pretty please (assuming it's snaw, not rain!)?

Flurries in East Kilbride, now turned to steady sleet. Would be nice if it would get a bit heavier so it might turn back to snow.

Got a frosting of snow in Kilmacolm, still snizzling. Everything looks gorgeous And yes, it was evaporative cooling as it was lashing rain earlier.

Looks like the snow is on the middle to back edge with rain at the front. Falkirk will probably be in the rain at the moment with snow in an hour!

Good old East Kilbride altitude is helping as usual then - a couple of cm. lying here - not exactly the event of the century but welcome all the same after the recent snow-drought.

usual crap here in Perth, watch the snow/sleet crossing over the country till it gets about 10 miles from perth when it turns to rain again.
