I wasn't surprised at all, my only wondering on waking this morning was where would the Bristol Channel streamer be affecting...

... It was right over the Mendips into Frome/West Wiltshire and indeed took until nearing 09.00 to die out, only to be replaced by another

such streamer for a few hours until just after midday.

The afternoon had had some warm sunshine but, here at least, a recent sharp shower on the WSW breeze.
