But, shouldn't 'organs of truth' at least have editors that have a modicum of knowledge of what they publish? I'm sure I'm not the only one here, who'd filter out 99.999...% percent of the keech our wonderful press extrudes daily?

Apparently Scotland and the north is on red alert for snow with forecasters warning of a 95 to 100 per cent chance of wintry showers from mid-month.

Every time the GFS comes up with something remotely cold, the Daily Express jump on the snowmaggaden bandwagon to jinx it!!! :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash:

Hi all. Can somebody explain to me what a 'super cold weather bomb is please? It's just that while I'm preparing myself for the next ice age, the million mile an hour gales and the fact that I'll be sitting in the dark freezing due to the shortage of gas/electric that the express has warned me of, I don't want to get caught out by anything I was not expecting! :)

A 170mph jetstream isn't that excessive though is it?

jet stream winds regularly reach that speed and more ,fortunately 5 miles up !..
