A very strange weather day, quite a lot of sunshine to start, and very windy. So ranging from very cool in the wind and shade, to very warm in the direct sun and shelter from the wind. Another strange thing was the massive bank of cloud to the direct south, which only made very slow progress northwards, so in a couple of miles you went from total cloud cover to largely cloud free skies.

Yes very breezy today but felt pleasant in the sunshine. Still winds gusting to about 25mph + now. 12C at the moment after a high of 19.4C
