Erm, think i'm going to be under dressed for tour 4

apart from the clothes, toiletries, passport and wallet, will have

Handheld Panasonic mini camcorder

Fuji fx31 camera

For the price of a few beers.... :drunk:

American TV networks pay $400 to $500 for 15 seconds of hd video according to posts on Stormtrack forum :drinks:

Hi,

Though am almost done preparing my stuff for my trip (Tour 3) I realise I need some things that other people have listed. Can someone please recommend/advise:

- A good quality 4 way adaptor plug for USA

- Whether or not I need something like this: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B003MA5IZM/ref=oss_product

(bearing in mind I need to use chargers for camera, phone, computer etc)

Whether people favour video over still images, and how feasible it is to do both ie. is there time when in and out of car, and how much space in car for all this kit of everyone's :)

Any advice most appreciated...

Seeing the news today about the storms and tornado hits, I am :o

I just use a normal uk 4 way strip and an American 2 pin plug adaptor, cheap and does the job perfect and no need to have loads of American adaptors :D

No need for the step up, never needed one since I've been out there.

You may want some way of charging in car but tbh I've very rarely found the need to do this unless I'm using my laptop constantly in the car.

Video or stills... Last year I ended up shooting more video but this I think is purely down to what you prefer. You'll soon quickly learn how to get in and out the car quick enough with all your gear to shoot both :D The cars are quite spacious and most people carry their kit with them in the back.

HTH and see you out there soon! :)
