Thick advection fog and damp. Vis, < 50 yds. Ground still frozen.

Not quite a frost free night, low 1.7c with –0.9c on the grass (snow) Overcast and misty. Mean snow depth 1.5cm, 60%. Staying murky and overcast with drizzle. Thick Advection fog formed by afternoon reducing visibility to < 150 yds. Less cold than of late, top temperature 4.6c.

A foggy night with occasional light rain and the temperature rising to 6.8c by 0600, the warmest day of the month so far.

Foggy so far today although earlier the sky was visible at times through the fog. Currently the fog is the thickest it's been all day with vis' down to 50 mts.

The temp' is 5.4c after an overnight min' of 3.7c ( 24hr min' was 0.7c )

Rainfall in 24 hrs ending 0900,1.8 mm

Mean wind speed, 8 mph W/SW.

Patches of snow and drifts remaining but snow cover only about 1 or 2%.

Fog all day, with drizzle most of the time as well. Current conditions: fog, 7.1 deg C, wind light E. Today's maximum 8.1, last night's minimum 5.0. The first day with above average temperatures for the time of year here since November 18.

Coventry report:

Cloudy/ misty/ foggy today. milder still. Little drizzle at times.

Still patches of thawing snow on the fields on the way to Leamington Spa this afternoon (it was deeper there). Thick fog over the fields driving back to Coventry just now.

Light breeze.

A calm, foggy and mild day, the mildest since November 19th. Also a notable temperature inversion with the max' in the local valley 3c lower than here yesterday.

Min last night was nearly 21C warmer than that on Christmas day..

Cloudy, damp, misty or foggy all day with a max of 9.7C, just slightly lower than yesterdays misty drizzly 10.4C. Humidity 98 or 99% both days, feels like a sauna outside compared to recently :lol:

An overcast, dull and foggy day from start to end. The maximum temperature was only 4.6C so still quite cold for the time of year. It has been very damp aswell with the humidity sticking above 96% throughout. The snowcover we had has now completely melted, leaving just the compact ice from the snow which fell in late November.

Currently 3.2C and 97% humidity. 0.6mm in the rain gauge today.
