Currently 5.8C, wet after showers overnight and looks like there will be more as we go through the day. Pressure 997mb and nearly no wind.

It will be interesting to see what happens next week, even if the west/southwest dont look so good for wintery precip!

Thick fog and very damp with the tress and shrubs steady dripping, visibility < 100 yds. Low 4.1c with

-0.1c on the grass, so a touch of ground frost detected. At observation, still foggy, though visibility has improved slightly, but still less than 150 yds.

Sky: 8 Oktas, Fog Stratus.

Temperature: 4.3°C

23rd ground-frost of the season this morning, but no air frost, with the min temperature being 0.9º.

Currently 5.8º with milky sunshine.

A morning which has alternated between clear blue sky with bright sunshine and thick fog.

At 0900 the fog level was around 280m, above this it was sunny. The sunshine lasted until around 1100 but since then the fog has deepened and currently there's thick fog, albeit with patches of blue sky just about visible above it.

The temp' is 5.3c after an overnight min' of 2.7c and a grass min' of 0.3c

Rainfall in 24 hrs ending 0900, 2.7 mm

Mean wind speed, 5 mph SW.

Vis', 80 mts.

today dawned bright but the fog soon rolled in, sky obscured, vis is about 2000m at the moment and overcast with low St=lovely I don't think.

min was 4.7C, its staggered up to 6.5C at the moment.

Fog has been slow to clear here, but we did get some intervals of hazy sunshine in the afternoon. Current conditions: mist, 7.1 deg C, wind light E. Today's maximum 7.4, last night's minimum 2.4.

The sunshine this morning lasted until about 1100 before the fog rolled up the hillsides and persisted for the rest of the day. The temperature fell 4.5c as the fog moved in. Above 300 mts the sky was occasionally visible through the fog late this afternoon, but only briefly.
