Wow. Just went downstairs and looked at my weatherstation to find the temperature at 8.9c after a low at 8.2c. That's really low around here.

I've been looking at XC weather and it seems we get Manchester's temperatures rather than Liverpool's. Interesting.

A dry, cool and mainly clear night leading to a sunny start this morning. The continuous sunshine lasted until around 0930 g.m.t before developing Cu increased to cover 4-5 oktas of sky for the remainder of the morning, limiting the sunshine to sunny intervals.

Current temp' is 11.5c after an overnight min' of 5.6c.

Rainfall in 24 hrs ending 0800 g.m.t, trace

Mean wind speed at 0800 g.m.t, 13 mph NW

Vis' over 80 km and no change during the morning.

After a sunny start it has been a cloudy day with occasional bright spells. Rather cold for September though with a max of just 13.8C. The min temp this morning was 7.5C.
