UK Outlook for Sunday 1 Jun 2014 to Tuesday 10 Jun 2014:

Largely dry with sunny spells at first on Sunday before showers develop across the east through the day. Further west, cloud and rain will reach western areas through the morning, before moving erratically eastwards. The rain should clear eastern areas on Monday with brighter skies and scattered showers following to the west. Conditions are likely to remain unsettled thereafter with scattered showers and longer spells of rain. It will also be breezy at times, particularly in the west. Despite this, there will be some bright or sunny interludes for most areas. Temperatures will generally be near normal for the time of year, but it will feel warm under any brighter spells, although some relatively chilly nights are possible locally in any clearer spells.

UK Outlook for Wednesday 11 Jun 2014 to Wednesday 25 Jun 2014:

Changeable weather looks more likely than not to persist into mid-June. As such, conditions would then be mixed with showers or longer spells of rain, particularly for western areas, interspersed by some drier, brighter periods for most parts of the UK. Later in the month, there are signs beginning to emerge of a change towards more settled conditions, at least for the north of the UK. Temperatures are likely to be near or just below average during unsettled weather and near average or rather warm during brighter, more settled spells.

UK Outlook for Monday 2 Jun 2014 to Wednesday 11 Jun 2014:

Probably starting fine and dry in the southeast on Monday, before scattered showers develop. Elsewhere, showery outbreaks of rain are likely with northwestern parts most prone. However, there will be some breaks in the cloud revealing some sunny spells and this will make it feel rather warm with light winds; particularly the southeast. Perhaps more generally unsettled on Tuesday with some heavier outbreaks of rain, particularly in the northwest. Conditions are likely to remain unsettled thereafter with scattered showers or longer spells of rain, which may be occasionally thundery, and it will be breezy at times. Despite this, there will be some bright or sunny interludes; particularly in the far north. Temperatures generally near normal for the time of year, but it will feel warm in the sunny spells.

UK Outlook for Wednesday 4 Jun 2014 to Friday 13 Jun 2014:

Rather cloudy and unsettled for many with showers or longer spells of rain on Wednesday and Thursday. Some heavy rain is likely, more especially in the west and northwest, with strong winds also possible in the far west. Temperatures mostly around, or just below, average for June. Thereafter, low pressure is likely to continue dominating the weather pattern across the UK bringing with it scattered showers or areas of prolonged rain at times, which may be occasionally heavy and thundery, and it will be breezy at times. Despite this, there will be some bright and sunny interludes. Temperatures will generally be near normal for June, though some chilly nights in the north. It will, however, feel warm in the sunny spells.

UK Outlook for Thursday 5 Jun 2014 to Saturday 14 Jun 2014:

It is likely to be unsettled through the end of the first week of June and into the weekend with showers or longer spells of rain affecting most regions. It will also be breezier than earlier in the week. Some of the rain will be heavy at times, but most regions will see some brighter spells through the weekend too with a chance of some southern and eastern parts more generally improving. Temperatures will be around average, but perhaps becoming warmer in the southeast through the weekend. Conditions will then remain changeable into the next week, with further showers and rain. Temperatures will then largely be around average for the time of year, but it will feel cool during the unsettled spells and warm where conditions are fine.

UK Outlook for Friday 6 Jun 2014 to Sunday 15 Jun 2014:

The generally unsettled theme looks set to continue through the early part of June. Through the first weekend in this period we are likely to see an area of rain moving northeastwards across the UK, this rain perhaps heavy and thundery. This brings with it warmer air, and a muggy feel in some parts of the south. The unsettled weather then continues into the following week, with the wettest weather over western parts, and the best of the drier weather towards the east. Temperatures will be around average for June, but it will feel warm in the brighter days between weather systems. Towards the end of this period, whilst the weather may remain changeable, there is an increased signal for some longer dry periods between systems.

UK Outlook for Saturday 7 Jun 2014 to Monday 16 Jun 2014:

The generally unsettled theme looks set to continue through the weekend, with showers for many locations, and the potential for more organised, heavy and thundery rain, mainly in the east. There will be some sunny spells too, especially towards the west. Temperatures generally near or above average in the west, and warm or perhaps very warm and humid in the east. Through the rest of the period, conditions look to be quite variable. Most places are likely to see some wet weather at times but this perhaps becoming more frequent in the west with the best of the drier and brighter weather moving towards the east. Daytime temperatures will vary but likely near normal, or rather warm in the east. Breezy at times in the west.

UK Outlook for Tuesday 10 Jun 2014 to Thursday 19 Jun 2014:

At first northern and western parts of the UK will remain unsettled and showery, with some heavy showers at times. Showers are also likely elsewhere on Tuesday, with a chance of thundery rain in the southeast, but it should be largely fine on Wednesday. Temperatures will be near normal or slightly above, and it may feel humid in the southeast. During the rest of that week little overall change is expected, with southern and eastern parts remaining largely fine, and northern and western areas seeing further showers or rain. It will be windy at times here with temperatures near average. Further south and east conditions should then be warmer. Thereafter unsettled weather may return south and east at times but most regions will still see good spells of fine weather.

UK Outlook for Friday 20 Jun 2014 to Friday 4 Jul 2014:

No strong signals exist regarding conditions during the latter part of June and early July, suggesting that the most likely scenario is something close to what is climatologically usual for the time of year. As such spells of fine weather are expected, but occasional bouts of unsettled weather with rain or showers are also likely at times, and perhaps more likely to the north and west of the UK. Temperatures will probably be near or just below average during unsettled weather, and otherwise often at least a little above average during brighter periods when conditions should feel warm.

UK Outlook for Wednesday 11 Jun 2014 to Friday 20 Jun 2014:

At first a mixture of clear or sunny spells and showers is likely for most, with northern and western parts of the UK seeing the heaviest showers and brisk winds. However, some parts of southeastern England may stay dry. Temperatures will be near normal, and slightly above in the southeast. During the rest of that week southern and eastern parts should remain largely fine, dry and warm, with northern and western areas seeing further outbreaks of rain and also some bright spells. It will be windy at times here with temperatures nearer average. Little change is expected thereafter, although unsettled weather may spread south and east at times. However, on the whole most regions will still see good spells of fine weather, especially southern Britain.

UK Outlook for Thursday 12 Jun 2014 to Saturday 21 Jun 2014:

Conditions during the latter part of the coming working week are expected to be less unsettled than on Monday and Tuesday but nevertheless still a little on the mixed and changeable side with some showers or rain about but also some bright or sunny spells. From next weekend onwards through the rest of this forecast period many areas are likely to see a good deal of fine and often dry weather, though occasional showers may affect some spots. Northwestern UK may not fare quite so well though and be a little more changeable with showers or longer spells of rain at times. Daytime temperatures then often at least a little above average under fine conditions but nearer or just below average under bouts of more unsettled weather in the Northwest.

UK Outlook for Friday 13 Jun 2014 to Sunday 22 Jun 2014:

For much of this period, many areas are likely to see a reasonable amount of dry weather with southern parts seeing the best of the sunshine, though occasional patchy rain or showers are possible even here. Northwestern parts are likely to be cloudier overall with some rain as weakening frontal systems move southeastwards across the UK at times. After a warm start in the south, temperatures will probably vary around average for most through the period, being somewhat above average under fine conditions but somewhat below average under bouts of more unsettled, breezy weather in the Northwest. This tendency for a north-south divide in the weather, with the north more likely to see changeable weather, looks likely to continue through the period.

UK Outlook for Sunday 15 Jun 2014 to Tuesday 24 Jun 2014:

High pressure tends to dominate throughout the period, with variable but often large amounts of cloud across the UK. The best of the sunshine will tend to be in sheltered southern parts, where it will also be mainly dry. Outbreaks of rain in the north and northwest of the UK will make slow progress southwards through next week, but the rain will tend to become very light and patchy as it crosses the UK, with little, if any, rain in the south and southwest of the country. Temperatures will tend to be above average at first in sheltered central and southern areas, but returning to nearer normal through the week, and feeling rather cool at times in the cloudier north and northwest.

UK Outlook for Wednesday 25 Jun 2014 to Wednesday 9 Jul 2014:

Through the latter part of June and into early July, there are indications that conditions may turn a little more unsettled, particularly across northwestern parts of the UK, with the best of the drier and brighter conditions towards the south and east. Temperatures are likely to be around average for eastern areas, and given the time of year, feeling warm in the sunshine, however temperatures may be a little below average in more unsettled northwestern areas.
