UK Outlook for Saturday 11 Jun 2016 to Monday 20 Jun 2016:

Generally unsettled, and somewhat cooler weather is expected to start this period, with organised bands of rain drifting across the UK. There will also be some sunshine and drier weather for most areas in between the rain bands, although afternoon showers will also be possible. Winds will remain quite variable but will become breezier than of late with a low likelihood of gales at the country's fringes. It will then remain rather unsettled through the middle part of June, though there will still be drier, sunnier periods for most, between bands of cloud and rain. The southeast may begin to become more settled towards the end of the period. Temperatures fresher than of late; so perhaps still warm in sunny spells, but rather cool in the most unsettled periods.

UK Outlook for Sunday 12 Jun 2016 to Tuesday 21 Jun 2016:

Generally unsettled and somewhat cooler with bands of rain pushing eastwards to start the period. These will be interspersed with some brighter, but showery conditions which may be heavy with thunder too. It will become breezier than recently too, with stronger winds likely across southwestern parts later. Towards the middle of the first week, largely drier and sunnier conditions should become established across northwestern parts and gradually extend further south and east and it will become warmer at times too. Into the weekend and the start of the following week a north-south split is expected with the most unsettled and cooler weather in the north and drier, more settled spells in the south and southeast, though still a risk of showers at times with temperatures trending around normal.

UK Outlook for Wednesday 22 Jun 2016 to Wednesday 6 Jul 2016:

Through late June and into early July, the most unsettled weather is likely to remain confined to north and northwestern areas. Drier, warmer and sunnier conditions are should continue across southern and southeastern parts, again still with a risk of the odd shower at times though probably a trend to more in the way of drier conditions later. Temperatures generally near normal to start and perhaps cool at times in more unsettled weather, though most likely to see a tendency towards warmer conditions later.

UK Outlook for Monday 13 Jun 2016 to Wednesday 22 Jun 2016:

It is looking unsettled from the start of this period, with spells of rain or showers, some of these turning heavy with a risk of thunder. The showers may also merge into longer periods of rain, with some heavier bursts possible. Winds are likely to be brisk, mainly across southern areas. As the first week progresses, more in the way of bright spells could develop, mingled with showers, however generally drier conditions are expected to become established into the southwest by Friday. Through the weekend and into the second week the northwest is likely to see much of any further rain, with the southeast expected to see drier conditions. Temperatures should be around normal for the time of year, but possibly falling below average in any extended periods of rain.

UK Outlook for Thursday 23 Jun 2016 to Thursday 7 Jul 2016:

Unsettled weather is most likely across north and northwestern areas through late June and early July. Southern and southeastern areas are more likely to see drier, warmer and sunnier conditions. Through the period this trend to more settled conditions is then expected to extend to most parts of the country. Temperatures are likely to be around normal for most, but possibly slightly below in the northwest and in more prolonged spells of rain. There is a signal that temperatures could gradually move to slightly above normal as the period progresses.

There will also be some drier and brighter weather interspersed, especially towards the end of the week. Through the weekend and into the following week, conditions will most probably take on more of a northwest/southeast split with the northwest likely to see more in the way of unsettled weather with rain, whilst the southeast is expected to be drier and brighter overall. UK Outlook for Tuesday 21 Jun 2016 to Thursday 30 Jun 2016:

Cloud and outbreaks of rain will clear eastwards on Tuesday to give drier and brighter conditions for many, albeit with a scattering of showers in the northwest, and some southeastern parts could hang onto the cloud and rain all day. Thereafter there is a higher than usual level of uncertainty in the forecast, but it seems likely that most parts of the country will see changeable, often unsettled weather prevailing. Spells of rain are likely at times, perhaps accompanied by stronger winds in the north, but there will also be some drier, sunnier periods with with the risk of a few showers. Temperatures will generally be near or slightly above average, possibly becoming warm at times, especially in the south.

UK Outlook for Wednesday 22 Jun 2016 to Friday 1 Jul 2016:

Unsettled weather is generally expected to prevail through the second half of next week. Most parts will see some dry and bright weather at times, but spells of rain are expected in the north, whilst in the south the rain will be more showery in nature, perhaps thundery too. Temperatures will be near or slightly above average across northern parts, and slightly above average generally in the south, with a small chance of it becoming very warm at times here. Into the following week a changeable pattern is most probable. The heaviest and most frequent rain is likely to be in the northwest, with the longest dry and bright spells in the southeast. Temperatures will probably be close to average, but slightly above at times in the south.

UK Outlook for Thursday 23 Jun 2016 to Saturday 2 Jul 2016:

On Thursday and Friday, south-eastern areas look set to be warm and humid with a mix of hazy sunshine and potentially heavy and thundery showers. In comparison, north-western areas are expected to be somewhat cooler and fresher with occasional rain. Over the weekend, the fresher conditions in the northwest will move south-eastwards across all parts to give some sunny weather, although rain may spread from the northwest during Sunday. Beyond the weekend, spells of dry, settled weather are expected to be interspersed with occasional rain. The rain generally more prevalent towards the northwest, with south-eastern areas favoured for more prolonged periods of fine weather. Temperatures near average, though probably slightly above average in the southeast, and below average in the far northwest.

UK Outlook for Sunday 3 Jul 2016 to Sunday 17 Jul 2016:

A westerly regime appears to be the most likely scenario, with high pressure close to southern parts. Given this regime, the weather is likely to remain rather changeable, particularly in the north and northwest. More prolonged periods of settled weather are likely elsewhere, especially in the south. Temperatures are likely to continue around average for the time of year, though probably above average in the southeast.

UK Outlook for Friday 24 Jun 2016 to Sunday 3 Jul 2016:

On Friday and Saturday, most parts should see variable cloud with sunny spells and a few fairly isolated showers, although there is a chance that eastern and southeastern areas could hang on to humid and cloudier conditions at first with a risk of thundery showers. From Sunday, a changeable period of weather looks to become established. There will likely be spells of dry and bright conditions, but these will be interspersed by showers or longer periods of rain, with strengthening winds at times. The rain looks to be more prevalent towards the northwest, whilst southeastern areas are more favoured for longer periods of drier weather. Temperatures are likely to be near normal, though above average at times, especially in the south, and probably becoming generally below normal in the northwest.
