That longer range of the Met office is screaming LP to our SW with mean winds coming in from the east. Very similar in fact to quite a few of the ensembles from today.

They have to caveat somehow. Some places are bound to see a bit of rain/sleet during this period.

But if they just said snow and not a mix of rain/snow then they could be wrong . So if they say both then they have got it right . Cover all basis lol .

It points to a protracted cold spell,possibly severe at times and with the deep Euro trough plenty of snow chances.

So this further ahead is completely wrong for later part of next week I don’t believe they can be that wrong what’s betting the ecm backtracks to cold later and the other will follow..
