Suspect you were one of the warmest spots today, warmest conditions were progged for the Glasgow area. Tomorrow looks a repeat with northern ireland possibly seeing the warmest temps.

We saw quite a chilly night down close to 5 degrees, maxes of 18 degrees but only briefly temp hovered around 15 to 16 mark for much of the day - so another fairly cold day for June averaged out i.e. less than 13 degree mean.

We were out in t-shirt/shorts for the walk to school at 8.30am today...that's how summery it was today. BBC forecast earlier had Glasgow flagged up at a recorded temp of 23C today which is pretty warm against a June average max of 18C. More of the same to come over the next few days. We've had some fantastic warm dry weather over the past few months. Rainfall in the last 6 months at my nearest Met-O rainfall recording station has been about 400mm compared to a normal average of 611mm.
