Do you know of any satellite images that cover the St Vincent island?

I find them very helpful in assessing the eruption and the area that the plume covers.

Interesting volcano, seems to produce a VEI4 every century.

Why would anyone risk doing that. Sounds like it's close enough to be hit by one, perhaps using the easy river route, which could make it longer, less friction to slow it.

Yes, I was watching Bob last night, she was so active, I watch her widen, as bits of the cone were falling into her internal lava lake of the lower vent.

I make it three spatter cones are being formed.

Bob looks a lot smaller this afternoon no doubt due to collapses and possibly the lave level rising faster than the spatter cone can be maintained.

Watching Iceland last night, I couldn't help thinking, all those fissures are gonna be one great big long one soon. More keep coming, and right now I think the dynamic is, lava on the top, is melting down, to whether the lava tube is, and boom another fissure opens.

If they don't move they'll end up the volcanic barbique look. A painful horrid death.

I count eight vents now at Geldingadalir. Looks like the valley will soon be gone altogether.

Interesting that the earth tremor is low
