Haven't got a clue to be honest.

The eruption seems to be on hold for now.Although tremor is increasing again slowly however last time it rose it only rose a short way and there wasn't an eruption.

Tremor still slowly rising but no eruption. Apparently on August the 1st there was a lot of activity on the south western point of the Reykjanes ridge. It's possible that some of the magma supplying the volcano is being transferred elsewhere. I remember when the dyke was forming in went in tow directions north east and also to the south west. Pure speculation on my part of course.

She's back alive now it's going to be interesting too see if the eruption spell is longer than the previous ones or not.

Nar is putting on a great show tonight,...will the southern wall collapse?

Seems to be back to regular eruptions after a pause in activity. It  won't be long until lava flows in a different direction unless it stops of course.

Nar has broken through the south/front wall

Another wall collapse 11:30am Iceland time.

now the eruption has started again and it will be interesting if the lava breaches this collapse.

Lava starting to overspill the new collapsed area now.

Possible new vent forming in the Geldingsdalir volcano, although we're not sure whether it's a parasitic vent or a new one, as it doesn't seem to synch with the main Ragnar vent.

There is a new vent now.

Going to interesting too see the next eruption which should a be a few hours away. New vent now sealed shut or active again?

Another change in the eruption it seems as the time for the tremor to rise is taking longer. The parasitic vents have sealed shut looking at things and we're back to where we were four five days ago.

Very short repose time this time around and already erupting again. No sign of the parasitic vents resuming activity.

Other late news. Etna is growing again as the new South east cone becomes the highest peak from the north east crater. The south east cone has also grown at not the most stable place to do so a possible collapse is always on the cards. The bigger it grows the bigger the risk.

Interesting watching funnel clouds over the plume today. More interesting than listening to Sheffield United who as expected manage to lose yet again.

Thick people once again. Why do we allow these numb nuts to breed?

Very active, looks like its building fair height too and becoming lopsided.

Just clocked this link on volcano café of a rather close shave.

As posters on there point out - the sightseer is startled by the breakout, but rather than retreat, just carries on taking pics!

Well Nar has gone into a long sleep and broken it's recent cycle. Tremor is going back up now but whether it will rise enough for an eruption is another matter.

The videos show how fast that lava can flow. The interesting thing is that looks like a water flow  but it you try and scupe some out you'll find fairly viscous.

Meanwhile another volcano twitches
