Yet another very cold day which was dull throughout. Showery snow turned to sleet and it then turned foggy by dusk. There was a very slow thaw but over 2 inches of last night's snow remains with deeper remaining where last week's hadn't thawed. The maximum was 0.9c and it's now 0.4c.

Freezing fog all day again coupled with continuous light snow which added just 2.5cm to the existing cover. Just a few flakes of snow falling now but the wind is light and drifting of the snow has stopped. 20-35mm of rime and glaze on the trees and bushes above 300m.

A dull damp and cold day here-some freezing drizzle first thing then very slight ordinary drizzle at times. This evening it snowed lightly but steadily to cover the ground again and after a max temp of +1.1C its down to -0.2C now.

8cm fresh fall since yesterday and 16cm level snow accumulated on the lawn.

During the afternon there was a steady thaw with just a few sleet showers. The fresh wind of early night died down to a light SE in the afternoon.
