someone should ask on his blog why he doesnt post on netweather anymore!

I can only guess it's because folk only listen to him when he says what they want to hear and critizise him when it's not what they want or doesn't turn out exactly as they would like it to have been in their 'neck of the woods'. I think the Met Office and BBC have handled this event extremly well considering the complexity of the situation.

Well done guys.

Hmmm, that is poor/non existent snow (well, in the centre of town anyway) sad.gif

That will be the fact we are in the Blackdown Hills precip shadow.

dewpoint and temp still not good according to my weather station, maybe the next wave approaching

Honiton may give us a better chance of snow later tonight.

Latest NAE has a 10 over Bristol (a 0 over Yatton though, of course) and a 4 over Cheltenham.

Still snowing here and temp is -0.5C

Jase

How much do you have up there now mate?

Sucks about the boiler... went out and got some electric heaters from B&Q for 8 quid lol... no oil tankers getting here, and a bargain!

I don't think anyone on this thread has critised? Indeed, its only ever good things from this thread, about everything, from rain, to snow, to cider and unfrozen meat...laugh.gif

Ditto

Thankfully temp and DP still falling so even though there is a distinct lack of ppn of any kind there is still a slim hope.

Hopefully the middle of the night event will pull of a miracle.

EDIT: Ah! Seen the chart now

Take a look here anyone interested,

http://www.weatheronline.co.uk/cgi-bin/expertcharts?LANG=en&MENU=0000000000&CONT=ukuk&MODELL=nae&MODELLTYP=1&BASE=-&VAR=rsum&HH=0&ARCHIV=0&ZOOM=0&PANEL=0&WMO=

NAE model data, comes straight from the MetOffice.

On those charts very roughly 1mm rain = 1cm snow.

Hi Matt

Well don't know about level snow because it's drifting but it is deep now, my 18 year old has just told me that the biggest drift he found was above his waist!

What's it like down there?
