Really Heavy now in Shorne, settling everywhere. Approx 1cm. Temp 0.6c.

Got a feeling that the Thames line will hit the jackpot tonight / tomorrow.

SLEET!! Typical Gravesend always the warmest place in the UK!:D

It is so tantalisingly close now! The 2215 radar has it just to the south of me. Snow reports comeing in from central London. That can only be good.

It's here in South Woodford danmyahoo.gif just spied it by the street lights

Has the northern edge moved enough for you to benefit Kold?

VERY light snowfall at the moment, need some more northward motion to get into the fun and games....

Don't expect much more northerly movement as the LP is now starting to shift more NW/WNW again...

Noticed that the dew points locally are starting to rise to near the air temperature, and have been since 7pm. What does that signify?

How much snow is forecast for SW and central London?

Thanks!

2-5cm widely, 5-10cm locally. Looking at the radar I'd guess three cm for W5 but could maybe stretch to more

Rain, rain with a bit of drizzle one or 2 flakes of snow mixed with more almost mild rain. 3.1c dewpoint of 1c.

Hmmm maybe its time to move from Eastbourne to anywhere a bit more north?!

I know, finally!! Still light at the mo. Hope some heavier stuff comes our way. The snow to the south seems to be petering out a bit from the latest radar. Anyone else notice that?

Just south of Redhill, 10cm since 9pm and still snowing heavy....very severe period upon us now guys...with lots more to come. This is the start of the two weeks of lying snow period for southern England.

BFTP

Hi Fred, I'm in Woodhatch and it must be at least that here now... How much more will we wake up to?

There better be to much snow for me to go to work tomorrow as I am now very drunk.

Best post ever! :D

Watched Alex Deakin and there was a bit of a downgrade for EA. Snow flurries yes but not heavy snow. Mind you it is the BBC though. Still think EA will be hit hard over the next few days.:o
