Still snowing very heavily here....

A good 5cms or so on the ground - main road into Maesteg is about to be shut due to the snow and also because of a large car accident pile-up..

i'm sooooooooo annoyed!!! in exeter it's been steadyily throughing down precip for 5 hours now, very heavy at times. the temp has hovered around 1.4oC and as such, it has been constant heavy SLEET. at times it turns briefly to snow and settles on cars, only to be wiped out by the next transistion to sleet! everything is soaking wet, with the mini rivers flowing along the roads, it's been that heavy.

just 0.5oC lower and we've have 4'' by now, ARGH!!!!!

sod this, i'm off up to Dartmoor now!

will report on that when i get back

snow still coming down thick and fast, but it still seems a bit wet. Got about 3/4 inch level covering with little drifts. South Wales is getting hit hard. Central North Wales has quite a bit too, but not sure on Mid and west North Wales but i guess its bad there

Much the same as Dunc said for his area.

Persistent blizzards, not easing up at all.

been snowing here for about 2 hours in the sussex downs, now beginning to settle,a nice covering, my guess boxhill and leith hill in surrey should have quite a lot in the next few hours, may only last till tomorrow but a nice way to end the winter, off to build a mini snowman! lol

regards nick
