It's 8.4C here, but even I'm not the coldest place in the UK.

I just had torrential rain though, I have an excuse, it fell to 8.3C

Still 8.3C is the coldest since last March!

It's unlikely that it will stay like this though we should hit double figures by the end of the day, might just shade single figures here though!

An unpleasant day - cold, windy, extremely dull and frequent spells of light rain. Max of 11c which is where we are now.

Still, it's late October now - this sort of weather was bound to arrive eventually so nothing to complain about really.

Early dusk very noticeable with me now needing lights on after leaving the office a little late (6pm). The 4-5 months of it taking several mins to mount up on the bike (instead of under one min) are back...

I think my rain gauge musts have a leaf in it; it's registering a dry day so far. It's actually been very damp, cold and raw. The temperature is currently the highest it's been today, at 8.7º and a neighbouring station has recorded 4.2mm of rain so far.

A bit of a grim day, started off dry if cloudy and quite breezy (bloomin freezing standing at the bus stop this morning ). Rain arrived later on, but less than I was expecting. A cool day on the whole, max of 10.9°C, not much different now 10.8°C.

Quite a windy and wet/damp morning then some very heavy and torrential rain for around 45 minutes centered around 12:00. The rain really was torrential where I was at 12:10 trying to get to the lesson I had! gutters were overflowing like mad and there was a lot of surface water and rather big puddles around.

back home I think we missed a bit of it although we did have very heavy/torrential rain.

Yet another dull and overcast day to add to the many recently. It was the coldest day of the Autumn so far however, with a max of 11.9C. It certainly felt nippy in the wind too.
