Lol i can't remember any snow in april. :aggressive:

I am high up by here, you know Pentyrch area its much more rural and colder. Snow risk is far greater just north of the city. Its more inland too.

We had about 4inches of snow in April 08 lasted about 7hours after fall. And we had snow before that too. Like for instance on my own weather station it was -6.1c last night in Cardiff the offical min was -3c. Its currently -0.6c.

reasonable light snow here now also, Pontypridd, 240m asl seems to be getting heavier as well. Some nice tidy flake sized snow now, didn't think this was on the cards for us today!!!!!!!

some fair amout of snow reports coming from Cardiff, Bristol and the rest of South Wales and West England.Even though band of rain which made Ireland and West Wales milder is aproaching the temputure with light snow grains is still falling. Wonder if we in for a surprise snow fall across Wales. It happend in Febuary 9th 2007 when Cardiff had a futher 5inches ontop of the snow it had on the 8th and i can remember BBC Wales and the MetOffice saying sorry on the news for unwarned snowfall.

Here in Penkridge, South Staffs, Light flurries of snow grains for most of the morning, intermixed with short periods of snow flakes, enough to give a dusting on surfaces, which hasn't melted

Light flurry of snow grains for a time, which stuck well in the frosty conditions, but has now eased off.

No snow here in North Bristol now or at anytime today, in fact it feels slightly less cold than of late.

Went over to the Cotswold Water Park this afternoon, just outside Cirencester. All the lakes and canal were frozen solid, bonus of bonuses, it snowed lightly for an hour or so leaving the lightest of coverings.

Much to my surprise (although I should have read the NetWeather forecast!), it's snowing here at present. Not huge snowflakes, but it's quite heavy - enough to have covered everything with a dusting.

Just had a couple of text messages from Cheltenham saying it is snowing heavily there.

Here in Lincoln, just clear skies and frosty.

Light and occassionaly moderate snow in Stroud for about 45 mins now - mix of icy grains and larger flakes. Really not much fallen, but nothing's melting away from gritted roads! Lets see if it'll last more than the usual hour...
