I think it's very much hit and miss. Some areas will get a lot and some areas might not get any. Snow is very localised, hence, the reason why weather forecasts never get their forecasts right.

I am very happy with what is happening here at the moment. Hope everyone who lives in Herts get what they want.

In Huddersfield it rained all morning and washed all last nights snow away. About half an hour ago, out of nowhere, instant blizzards. The temperature has dropped 3c in that time to -1c. About an inch on the ground and there is that wooshing sound, amongst the silence that comes with heavy snow. Long may it continue!!

HUGE flakes here, some the diamater of a small glass, sticking in the less wet places, looknig nice. Blizzards at times.
