We abandoned Juncton due to poor visibility in search of a good view. It's really drizzly around here at the moment so I'm not sure we are goign to catch anything. We are currently in Rocksprings keeping an eye on cells moving to the north east

Ah well.. not to worry mate.. It was a very good call though.. Pity about the visibility..

Lots of light rain on the radar on the front edge all the way through..

Just noticed the cell that should have passed SW of the teams last position is tracking NE while all the other storms tracking SE..

SPC called this earlier, didnt expect the cells that passed the team to go off NE, the cells SE in Mexico have/had

gone tornadic, only 50 mile south of the teams position if they're still atRocksprings.

Team must be on the move again.. heading south ?

Aye, still looks on for a dynamite weekend.. Slight risk SE Texas tomorrow dont know if the team will head off that way as it will be a long drive North, saying that Friday looks pretty settled so maybe ..

Just a quick note.

We are safe and sound having followed the storms East from Rocksprings. We pretty much drove 60 miles east in the core of the mess of cells with driving rain, frequent cg lightning and almost zero visibility at times. It was pretty hairy at times but we got just about our only view of any of the storm structure doing so. We have a few pics of the very low cloud base and a beaver tail being dragged into one of the storms. WE eventually found our way back in Fredericksburg, where we have been watching lightning and eating at the Chili's across the road from the hotel for the second straight night. Again, Paul's laptop isn't liking the WIFI here so a report will probably be forthcoming tomorrow.
