Looks like The Western isles could get very windy on Sunday , Low Pressure crossing from West to East ,

Update,

This update is for you cookie as asked what the wind speeds are see below, (i have also put in times)

West ireland:

saturday 6pm 46mph

monday 6am 46mph

Western Isles:

Saturday 9pm 38mph

Sunday 3am 54mph

Monday 12pm 46mph

Tuesday 6pm 46mph

South Ireland:

Thursday: 6am 54mph

South England:

Thursday:46mph

Friday:46mph

Thanks for the comment , much appreciated, Yes it has been pretty quiet in the Atlantic thanks to the Blocking of this High Pressure, Looks like things could change over the weekend , with the Western Isles getting the first of the winds on Saturday Night around 21z then getting stronger through the night and into the early hours of sunday morning

This is the culprit for Sunday , As you can see the centre isnt very deep down to 992 but its a start .

Well if it`s stronger winds your looking for Scotland`s the place to be tomorrow.

It`s the rain I want, which looks we`ll get next week with the atlantic coming back along with strong winds at times.

The strongest wind in May here in recent years is this with strong-gale force S-lys.
