Smallish snow flakes now consistantly falling, with light to moderate falls. Some flakes are now starting to get bigger, and sstarting to settle on some surfaces.

Our seems to be usual dusting overnight, but the wind is very strong this morning and the snow is gradually getting heavier, the flakes are certainly getting bigger.

Same in Aberdeen where the snow has now reached. And indeed the wind is picking up. A light covering of the ground already.

Snowing steadily and finally starting to stick here in Whitwick now... should be able to watch it pile up on the cam over the coming hours... shows up best on the animated image. :)

The snow is now starting to come down a little faster now here in Newhall for most of the morning it has just been the odd light flake falling. It is now starting to settle on the garden at the back.

Moderate snow in Leeds but struggling to settle, just a patchy coating on some surfaces. Looks from the radar as if there was a local dry area centred on Leeds between 5 and 8am while all neighbouring areas got snow, but since 8am it has been snowing.

I think we need some of that green stuff on the N-W Extra Radar in order to actually see much accumulate on the ground.
