Hi Ross,

Sod all up here yet...How are you keeping?? :):)

Uh-oh, somebody needs a memory boost! I'm great thanks, hope you are too. ;)

The snow has got really heavy here, about 4in on every surface with big flakes, it's been snowing like this for about an hour. The sky is orange, looks full of it. Every surface is covered, including the main roads, even though the gritters have been out.

Ash

Seems to be getting warmer here 'it's now -1.3c thats a half degree rise in an hour, hopefully it will stay sub zero and we'll see plenty of snow , but i know from experience that if it's gonna turn to rain it usually does it sooner rather than later here ;)

Just started to snow lightly in Milton Keynes about 5 mins ago, not looking very heavy on the old radars but what ever falls will lay as it's below freezing and we still have about 2cm of lying snow on the grass ect from tuesdays showers ;)

A few snowflakes at the moment, just ben down to the Troon and it's still falling as snow there however there snow cover has melted.

Here there is a healthy 2-3cm covering :) , must of snowed heavy at times. I never saw it as i was out for dinner though ;)

Its the second wave of westerly that will bring all the snow as long as the easterly stands its ground....which at the moment it is doing.

Just back from pub. Another 1cm of snow to add to the 0.5cm that hasn't melted from the localised fall on Tuesday evening.

Temp +0.1 at 18:00 when going out, Temp now +0.8 on arrival home.

First signs of snow melt just starting to kick in.

Not expecting anymore but you never know....

Its stopped snowing now. After 2 hours of "continuous" snow there is little more than a light dusting, possibly upto 1mm in places, but nothing to shout about yet. Certainly nothing more on the radar until the second band in a few hours, but that is more likely to be rain as the temps increase
