Snow/Wintry Precipitation Reports 29th December

it's snowing here in Southampton. The snow is settling on just about everything. Started perhaps at around 5-5:30pm. I'd rate the snow fall rate at medium... and heres a photo out of my front door!

The snow here is much heavier now, and the ground will be completely covered before long if it carries on like this. It's not a white-out by any stretch of the imagination yet though, but fingers crossed!

Snow has started falling steadily here on Glasgow's South Side within the last 30 mins.

Had a couple light snow showers from 3pm- 4.30pm then there was a lull before two heavier snow showers moved in at 5.30pm to give a light covering of snow on the pavements and roads, but not on the grass. A light snow shower has just started up again at 7.30pm. Five snow showers so far today.

My first snow report of the winter. Light/moderate falls and already settling on all surfaces as had heavy frosts for last few days!

Heavy dry snow here, temp -1.5c. Didnt expect there to be much in the way of snow round here being so close to the coast. Lets hope it sticks around for a good few hours

Snow's arrived in Preston, albeit, very light and grainy. Hopefully ground isn't too wet before the real stuff arrives..
