First time i've been able to post anything due to ISP optic cable damage in my area since yesterday :drunk:

Anyway, very light snow covering from last night and a hard frost on top of it. Temps still below freezing here..

Only a dusting here.

Bit annoyed to hear that when this new band arrives on the right side of the pennines, it'll turn to rain before snowing again once it gets over the pennines. Yet this stuff refuses to move over.

Sod's law.

an easy 6" of snow between stonehaven and banchory, it has been a complete white out for the past two hours and more is flooding in from the north sea, some very dangerous driving to be had out there....definately need to close some roads. Stopped counting the amount of snow ahowers there have been but i would guess it at about 20. Its so cold that the grit they have put on the roads has done nothing, they would have been aswell putting down more snow...

Sounds pretty crazy on the Old Slug Road, Jamie. Only had 1 hail/snow grain (don't know the difference) shower in Aberdeen which has slowly thawed except on the grass.

As per usual, an easterly is rubbish for Aberdeen. :drunk:

snow showers around 4 o clokc this morning, and an hour long snow grain event, but nothing else today. It was heavy snow graing, but still only very fine snow indeed here. Last night, late yesterday evening provided blizzard conditons at time, but considering all that we still have low levels of snow here, it smore as go into the central areas of ipswich though,. All this followed a day packed with snow showers yesterday, and they were very heavy indeed.

Just had another 20 minute very heavy snow shower in Grimsby. About 3/4cms lying now though would have been more without the slow thaw we've had between showers. High of 1.5C today though 0.5C now.

Best snow for several years in West Lincs, and unlike the February 2005 event this snow is laying through the day.

Was away @ Mrs Dazza's cousins last night but on the way back I came through a snow shower which left a light dusting just south of Lisburn. The continual shower looked as if it was heading in Intrepids direction (towards Newry).

It is the first the first snow I have seen to be able to report on since the Boxing Day+ cold spell. Yipee snow for N.Ireland.....

Upon returning home there is no snow for us here but current temperature is -2 and there is a thick frost which will undoubtably remain for the time being.

Currently having a light snow shower, been light flurries all morning with sunny spells in between. Last night we had more substantial falls from showers topping up the snow from yesterday to around 13 cms or 5 inches first thing, still 10-11 cms now despite some melt. Temp currently 1.4C in the snow shower. Pic below I took this morning while on a walk:

Had a light dusting of snow showers last night (North West London), Im really disappointed every 1 is having 3-4cm minimum while the most we had was yesterday in the morning which was like only 1cm.

We've had some more snow fall overnight here in Northampton to give another 1cm covering, we had a light shower earlier today but that was it.

Overnight moderate snowfall which deposited around 8cm and when combined with the snow still around from yesterdays fall, a total of 13cm was measured on three seperate surfaces( Garden table, Grass and Car roof) Naturally less on surfaces such as paths etc.

Nice drive to Manston Airport  on very slippery roads. Snow off and on, but the further I travelled to the coast the depth decreased. 5 or so showers during the morning period which hampered the snow clearance of the runway.

Another shower on drive home from work. Still a lovely covering and plenty of people enjoying the snowy weather around here!
