Just pouring with rain here now - so if it does snow it won't settle now unless it freezes later !! :D

Well, woke up to a slight patchy dusting and my dad said when he woke it was snowing.

Now at about 1pm had a snow shower, but very light and short.

Here in faversham, gusty very cold out, temp between 2-4c fluctuating quite a bit.

Can see lots of dark clouds out to north kent coast smilie but they all seem to be passing to my east(dover, margate) and west (maidstone area and further west). Ah well what will be will be.................

Just had a 10 minute snow flurry in Cockfosters, North London. Not settling though. BBC website still has us our weather down as "sunny".

The short sharp showers so far today can be summed up as :-

Snow, Snow, Snow, Sleet, Rain, Rain, Sleet, Snow, and now sleet. All driven on a brisk N'thly very cold wind. :D Many more showers are shown on the radar heading down the east coast, so expect more snow later on as it turns colder with sunset. :D

Blizzards in Bedford currently. Got very dark and yellow and temps rose by 4 degrees. Now been very heavy settling snow for 10 minutes. Temps now fallen again to 1.4 degrees. You can see a pink shower showing up on Meto.gov.uk. Look out Luton and London!

Been up the North York Moors today. In places there was a decent covering. Heavy snow when I left Newton Aycliffe this morning.
